AI boosters were often telling some version of this story.
And we're now in a place where I hear many more people and read many more people raising questions about those little things, raising questions about, you know, exactly how much profit has to come in to justify the capex, raising questions about exactly what it means that they're getting pressured from China.
And so, on some level, at a narrative level, it looks to me like this.
marks or punctuates a kind of reset where like we're now talking about the AI economy, who's gonna win, who's gonna navigate th that bumpy road, and how to allocate
resources and capital, how to manage political challenges.
And that's a very real world landscape, which is very different from the like whiteboard in a in a conference room, we're drawing a line on a board and saying that's where we're gonna take off.

So that's at the narrative level.
We're c we've kind of left behind the big story that AI was sa selling us for several years.
And we're now trying to figure out where are we?
