So I grew up in northwest Iowa, so we had a dirt track in Alta just a couple miles away from the farm, but we used to go watch a lot of figure eight races in Primgar.
I don't think any of those guys are really professional drivers.
It sure makes for a hell of an entertaining night.
Like a chicken?
Just like you would do a four-way stop in a country.
You're supposed to yield to the driver's side door.
So if somebody's coming across the middle and it's their driver's side door facing you, you are the one that's supposed to swerve or yield.
And yes, it doesn't always happen because sometimes you think you can... The track can be sloppy or whatever it is.
So if you punch it and you think you can make it past them or you slam on your brakes, you still might not get...
It is definitely redneck, but it's a lot of fun to watch.
