And so he wanted to come back, but...
But he was very, very stubborn, and you couldn't really talk to him about a lot of stuff.
And so he made a huge mistake, and Carroll would have brought him back.
All he had to have done was sit there and listen and try to make some inroads and listen to Carroll and make the offense a little bit better.
It was very hard.
He had gone down to Florida to meet with the attorneys to make the final transfer to the Rams to Steve Rosenblum.
And he drowned.
In Florida?

And he went out there.

on the shore, said they saw him, and then they say, we saw a frog man, and then we saw a boat go away, all this other type of stuff.
And, of course, he drowned.
And when Steve found out about it here in L.A., he jumps on an airplane, and by the time he got to Florida, they cremated him.
