And as well, you know, talking to Martin Perez last year, watching him throw, watch how, you know, a 14-year big leaguer sets up hitters throughout the whole game.
It was just a great learning experience for me, and I just soaked up a lot of that stuff that he was doing.
Yeah, I mean, we had a very unique situation where we did have two off days in between starts.
I thought I was good to go on a seven-day rest, but we just had, like I said, a very unique situation where me and Fetty could foot flop.
He would still get six days rest, and I would get an extra one.
And obviously I fought it.
I'm just very appreciative to our coaching staff and our training staff kind of sitting me down, giving me the facts, doing all that stuff.
And I think it worked out really well.
And so I'm very appreciative of them and kind of just making sure I don't get in my own way.
Yeah, I mean, it's really just there's no difference, right?
Like, one extra day is not going to change a lot of things.
You know, everybody's fine.
We're in a good spot with Fetty, and Fetty was good with it as well.
And so I think that just kind of that selfless nature of our team, you know, Fetty looked at me and was like, hey, I'm good, man.
Let's go.
Like, I'm all right.
And so that kind of helped me kind of settle in and understand that, hey, this is a long season.
We're only in June.
So we got a lot of innings to throw.
So when there is an opportunity to take a little bit of extra rest, take full advantage.
