And it led to the exact opposite.
It led to a 50 percent reduction in the number of films that combined studios are releasing.
and it led to thousands of people losing their jobs.
This is the example that Bonta and others point to when they say, look, when you consolidate two big Hollywood studios, the only reason the economics work is through cuts.
Look, Hollywood is struggling.
The employment is down over.
We've lost tens of thousands of jobs.
