So we can kind of like check to see if they're there, but not to think about you that much.
So you to be in the background.
So we don't play with toys, but we have hobbies, we have careers, we parent, we have all these different things.
So attachment is really linked to our exploratory drive.
When we feel safe,
We can explore.
So it's more related to that.
Right, because that's what it was initially about.
Initially, when we wrote the book, we had this running joke between us that it's only going to sell one copy to the Library of Congress.
I went through this breakup and she's my childhood friend.
And so instead of just, you know, how you talk about breakups incessantly.
So I said, you know what, instead of sort of wasting all that energy about talking about the breakup, let's make something good about it.
Can I ask what your style was?
Was it anxious?
With this person?
Yes.
Yeah.
It wasn't so much anxious.
I didn't understand what was going on.
And then that goes to this idea, like all these myths that we have, if you don't know about attachment theory, we have this idea that everybody loves the same.
