They weren't making for us by us.

It was only Karl Kanai, which we looked up to.

So we really got pushed out of the community at that time.

They're like, ah, we ain't messing with them cats.

You know what I mean?

And so it was just us.

But now all of a sudden we started dressing people, you know, and we started hooking people up.

We started really hitting up the four and five X guys going on the video sets because I didn't have enough money for a lot of shirts.

I made 50 shirts and I made 50 shirts that were five X and six X. And I gave them all to the bodyguards.

And those bodyguards were in front of the Red Rope.

They were in front of the music artists.

They were in front of LL and Run DMC and Salt-N-Pepa.

And people started seeing them.

And then the artists started asking for the clothes because they saw those guys wearing it because those guys...

didn't have a lot of fashionable choices.

They can either go to Rochester big and tall and get a white shirt or a black shirt, or they got to get something custom.

Now, all of a sudden, they got a shirt they can wear 10 times a month.

And that's how we really, really started.

Damn.
