Sure, and we'll start out with the franchise relationship bills.
We had Assembly Bill 1141 introduced earlier this year.
It was a retread of last year's Assembly Bill 2305, which at that time was the worst piece of franchise legislation that we had seen ever.
And 2305, as you know, died and committed last year, and then 1141 was brought up this year.
and it was really just more of a bill that should have never been, I guess, would be the best way from our position on that, is that it was content-wise mirrored image of 2305, and then it was amended, scaled back down due to the concerns that IFA raised, and now it's been put on as a two-year study bill, and it could come up again, but hopefully it won't.
I think
the more people were informed about the damaging aspects of the bill, its chances of moving forward have been decreased, at least in its current form.
But hopefully that bill won't resurface again.
But we also have a very interesting bill and a very challenging bill and detrimental bill, and that's Senate Bill 610.
It's a very short bill talking about good faith being incorporated as a statutory definition into contracts
