I sort of stumbled across it by accident, if that made sense.

He's nothing like my father.
You know, I wanted to be a fireman.
And I ended up on a surfing holiday for two weeks, which turned into six months, long before the mobile phones.
And my father found me working in a surf shop and told me I'd wasted my education.

This will go back to what drives me and gets me out of bed.
You know, on that lengthy trip home for four hours, you know, my father's like, you wasted your life.
What are you going to do?
And for me, I said, well, I'll join the military.
And he said, you'll last two minutes.
And for me, that was just enough fire in my belly to prove that person wrong.
And then throughout my career, actually, there's been times where people will challenge you that you can't do it, you know, and you just say, right.
And so that was enough to get me out of bed, was to prove other people wrong.
And I find throughout life, you can...
have a disagreement with someone and or have a different opinion on a certain thing and then you can you can argue you can verbally go for it and you know maybe you may change their mind but actually the best course of action is action itself you know going out and doing it and so that was my initial one that's what got me out of bed and joined me got me into the military and then as my career then went on there was other challenges other other other people saying you can't do it and also
