So like it is so much harder than it was even for my parents because like we said earlier, everything is a one click buy.
It is so easy to fill our homes up with things.
It's so easy to see influencers with these giant birthday parties for their two-year-olds and you feel like you are lacking and you feel like your children need toys.
I had an experience like that, very similar when our daughter was six.
18 months to two years old, we had traveled for the six months before that, sold 95% of what we owned.
And when we moved back, it was like, wow, I felt guilty.
I felt guilty for not having all the toys everyone else had.
I felt guilty for her.
We lived out of a suitcase and lived in Airbnbs for a month at a time.
And it was an awesome time.
I don't know why I feel guilty.
Like looking back, I'm like, oh gosh, that's so silly.
But it is true.
You always, I think it's human nature to want what you don't have, to see what other people are doing and
whether, you know, we don't ever look and think about, okay, well, what are the bad things in their life?
No, no, no, no.
We just assume everything's great.
And we take the good things that we're looking at in their life and apply it right over on top of ours and say, okay,
well, I don't have that.
