Uh, 'cause it started off with uh some of my computer explorers franchisees were there and they'd stu jump up and say, I tweets or Hey, I just checked into Foursquare and if we all check in, you know, maybe we'll uh you know, get a badge.
And then after a while most of the attendees were they jump up and they'd say, I haven't a clue
what social technology is and social media and marketing and I need to go home
um with some new tips and and strategies.
I was
really, really surprised by the audience how few
are involved with social media.
I mean it just really took me by surprise.
Um the panelists were great, Century Twenty One, Goddard School, Philly Pretzel, and then we had uh s uh an attorney, Tracy Diamond there from Highland Levin to talk about the the legal uh aspects of social media.
But
that that was surprising to have such a large group attend and maybe that's why we had such a large attendance is because they really
have not
had enough experience with using social media.
Some had had Facebook pages, some had n knew of Twitter.
But when you talk about people not knowing at Foursquare, there was a group right there
that really looked at us and said, I don't know what four square is.
So um amazing.
I think there's a purpose for b both.
I mean EJ can talk about retail and brick and mortar, but you know, for a service brand where we're home based, um, you know, there's there's still a lot we can do with social media to build our web presence and especially with lead generation.
