It's embarrassing to actually say you're a podcast host.
Well, speaking of, you continued performing comedy at night while you were teaching.
But I read that you felt that there were maybe 100 people hearing you perform when you were doing this.
And you were leaving with some great stories about being a babysitter.
But nothing that really mattered.
And I read that this period in your life became really emotionally difficult.
And you described it as feeling overwhelmed and burnt out.
You were also teaching students facing homelessness, illness, trauma.
You also said that during this time you lost your sense of humor and saw laughter as incompatible with responsibility.
It just was so... In fifth grade, you must have to deal with their parents.
I read that you came to the realization that you were no longer going to be a teacher.
So you made a very conscious decision and decided to rebuild your sense of humor, to deliberately inject more laughter and comedy into your life, and to transform the way you saw the world.

How did you go about doing that?
I think you should teach improv.
