It's familiarity.
It's perhaps a kind of twinning between them.
It has an inevitability to it, which perhaps there are other relationships didn't have.
But, you know, when they break up the other relationships, the two spouses react with extreme, you know, emotion and passion.
So obviously that that was there in those relationships and it is not there with Izumi.
There's just a kind of dependence and a sense that they are somehow the same.

Well, he's just packed up or left behind everything that sort of was symbolic of his former identity, including his jazz records.
And he had an extensive collection.
So this character has left these things behind.
He's taken only the contents of one medium suitcase.
He's in the process of packing up, has said, well, actually, there's nothing you can't let go of.
You can get rid of everything.
And then he realizes he's got rid of everything except this suitcase and goes into complete panic because what is there left?
What is left of him?
and then he gets through it and feels lighter.
And it's actually that moment in the story is a sensation that's familiar to me because I had a house burned down and lost everything I had.
And you grieve, and then you're like, wow, I feel freer.
