Yeah.
You both look younger than me and I was born in 75.
Er... Yeah.
Yeah, in 1994.
You don't play with your family!
19, I think, when we released it.
Yeah.
Well, it was weird for us because we'd been in Baker Grove for about five years and we did a song in the show and the whole thing was we were going to
take that song, release it, and it was gonna get in the charts.
And then whatever happened business-wise, contractually, between the TV company and the record company, it all fell apart.
So we'd been written out the show, and we were going to release this song, and then it all fell apart.
Then the TV show went out, and they got such a big reaction from the audience, saying, we wanna buy the song, we wanna buy the song.
So another record company got involved.
So then we got this record contract, and it kind of came out of the blue.
We'd moved on, we'd gone back to college to do performing arts and stuff.
So we got this contract.
It wasn't a brilliant contract, there wasn't a lot of money in it, but we left college and went and did this.
Our second or third song was Let's Get Ready To Rumble, went top ten, we were on top of the pops.
We were like, what the hell's happening here?
Brilliant.
