And yeah, so I think that
you know that's a whole other convo about being in a relationship making sure that you're you know prioritizing those relationships but I think yeah making new friends like going out of your comfort zone there's just like so much when you're like there's just so much you can do yeah and you realize like how much brain space you've wasted not wasted but like for me it felt wasteful when I was like chasing after all these guys that genuinely didn't care about me at all
You know, it's like, oh, wow, I spent like sleepless nights being like, oh, my God, I wonder if he'll text me back.
And he's like probably sleeping with someone.
And, you know, and I'm like, I could have been fluent in French.
the fact that it's a billion dollar industry to feel like that exactly and it's like there's no doubt that we are dealing with a loneliness epidemic not for men by the way um we did a whole episode on it for the hookup it's not real um and we'll link that yeah research shows it's not real
They actually are dealing with, like, when they leave romantic relationships because they've made women their whole world and their emotional, you know, support.
They don't do as well.
They don't have as much... Whereas girls thrive a bit.
Yeah, they don't have that intimacy that women have in their friendships.
But research shows equally all genders are lonely.
But I think, like, yeah, we tie this idea of being alone to being lonely, right?
And that's just not true.
Like, I've been...
in relationships or dating guys where I'm, like, in bed and crying and I'm the loneliest I've ever been.
Yeah.
Or I've been in a room full of people and been the loneliest I've ever been.
And then I've been solo on my own and been, like, the most content and peaceful and happy.
Like, so I just think what we have been taught that this...
idea of being alone is so lonely.
