that's the lesson to learn.
Exactly.
And I think people fear that idea of, as well, pity, right?
Like, I think, you know, singleism is definitely something, maybe like not as much anymore, because thank God for Shantae Joseph's article.
But like, it is this idea of,
discrimination and pity and, oh, don't worry, he's out there or like you'll find them.
Yeah.
And so I think there's, especially if you're getting into your 30s and you're in a group, depending on like, you know, where you've grown up, where everyone around you is having kids and getting married and you just think like... They've made their entire life and personality that, which is great.
Seriously.
Or, like, when, like, that whole joke around, like, married couples being like, oh, I could never go on dates.
Oh, you poor thing.
Like, oh, I could never be in a marriage where, like,
you're doing like most of the domestic labor and all the mental load and how's that going?
Yeah.
Let's balance out that conversation.
We have a few zingers we could give back.
I'm like, how's that?
So yeah, I do think that people fear being alone based off of a lot of the time, like the response that they'll get from people around them.
But yeah, as you know, like it can be one of the best things that will ever happen to you.
And so I really, what I really want with this book is for people to like feel a bit of comfort in that.
