It's been raising eyebrows, especially since March, since the Facebook disclose that Cambridge Analytica had kind of walked away with a lot of data about users and sold it.
So there's a lot of, there's a lack of trust in Facebook these days.
You know, there's this
feeling that the company just is gobbling up all this data and is giving it away irresponsibly.
It's an image that Facebook is trying strenuously to change and to show that this isn't something they do.
You know, they have a massive ad campaign.
They have gone out and changed the way the product works or executives have said again and again, you know, this isn't true.
You know, what happened with Cambridge Analytica was a problem, but we protect your privacy in all these other ways.
And we've taken great, you know,
great pains to do that.
And it's been tough for them.
They have a tough image right now.
Yeah, there is a tension there.
I know no bank, no
No bank wants to be irrelevant, and they want to be where the customers are.
And a lot of people are on Facebook Messenger.
So I think that's why they're having these conversations and are willing to discuss these issues with Facebook.
And then there's the flip side, which is, well, hey, if they're checking their account balance on Facebook Messenger, why would they open my app?
