On second thoughts, it's nice to be worried about me.
I think at 28, I am glad to be alive for the first time.
And I don't know how anyone can bear to have children.
The world is so cruel.
My heart breaks every day.
But it's summertime again and every passing year it seems like a greater miracle.
The weeds growing through cracks in the pavement and the breathtaking cold of the sea and the long evenings and waking up with Joel and the smell of cut grass and better still the sight of grass that's never been cut makes me sick with joy.
The summer will go and the teenagers will grow up.
