I was a PhD student in Sweden at the time, and we had access to all this nice data, so data on income and health data that I'd worked with before. And I thought it could be curious to try to link the two and see if in an egalitarian country like that, there might be an expectation or a preference for a husband to earn more in a couple.
it seems like I find some at least tangential evidence that an expectation like that might be there.
