That showed up there with us.

And I know that was unusual because of the rank.

That's not no that's just a high ranking officer.

Not typically a thing, especially with just a handful of soldiers.

Well, he was, as they told us, a history buff.

So he would take us around and d we'd go different parts of um

uh that that area to just different rooms, places.

The Eagle's Nest was one of them.

We'd go and tour that.

And we went to the hotel and again in Birchers Gardens, Germany, and all of a sudden he has a set of keys with us.

And the next one of the mornings, I don't remember which one, he says, Okay, we're gonna go on a unique tour.

So we kind of report down to the the lobby, show up there and

He all of a sudden has a set of keys, goes over to some just a really thick old wooden door that just kind of tucked back in the um an off room of the the lobby area where you can't really get to it, and opens it.

Nobody else is with us but the three of us.

And then all of a sudden, all that's there when you open the door is a staircase heading straight down, and it's old.

So long story short,

We go down the staircase and it ends up there's a little set of railroad tracks at the bottom and tunnels.

It was a little mini railway station that was underground that was dated back to World War II, all of that stuff happening.

And we would walk through these different just the the walkway going through the corridors, and part was an old hospital room.

They said all the equipment in there.
