In many ways, the crisis is the opposite of loneliness.
It's that we don't feel that social cue to be lonely enough.
So maybe the best way to think about the antisocial century is to juxtapose it with something like you could call the social century.
For the first 50, 60 years of the 20th century, basically every indicator of social belonging and social capital was rising.
People were spending more time with each other.
