He's a classy player, he's elegant on the ball, and he brings something to the Mayo team.
I think just having him around, having him on the ball, suffuses the team with a certain confidence.
He's got flair, and that inside line is very, very exciting.

They were very tenacious in the tackling and Lowd were a bit careless in the way they didn't protect the ball.
But Mayo got in there directly, got the ball inside, used the space, looked to be taking lads on.
Even Tommy Conrad, when he comes on, he goes for it.
He's exciting.
He could have had a couple of goals.
They were creating chances, creating goal chances, taking lads on, which is exciting to see and which Grove Park lends itself to.
well i just think they're a very excitable race of people and um and and they love football under history is is we all know about their history um but i do think it's slightly different this year um in that i think that it's been tempered a bit with the kind of you know with the roscommon result and all that early on and they haven't had it easy up to up to recently enough you know that they had difficulty getting over teams and nearly lost leads or
you know that type of thing so they found a bit of form not the right time coming into it but you know I don't think they're as excitable as they have been up to now at least but it's two weeks into an All-Ireland final give them two weeks so I wouldn't write them off from that point of view from a hype point of view
they're entitled to be excited it's an all-Ireland final they're a young team you know not all young but you know they've gone with you to a large extent and they're driving it along with Ryan Dunne who obviously as well and so there's a bit of excitement and freshness about them sure look they're in there now unexpectedly we'll wait and see what happens tomorrow they'll have a bearing on it maybe and
I won't say they have nothing to lose.
That's a bit kind of, um, you know, um, that's not the case.
