Martin Branney is writing about it too.
So Kildare, for instance, are this year's Joe McDonagh representatives in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championships.
They came up and against Galway,
They were leading by 12 points at one stage.
They were leading by 10 points at halftime, playing great hurling by all accounts.
Martin was at the game and said it was really brilliant hurling on Kildare's part.
Galway recovered and in the end won by nine points.
Brian Dowling, the Kildare manager, said it's incredibly harsh when you look at the table and you see zero points next to our name.
And the sense is they've given a good account of themselves here and there against Wexford, Dublin.
And they face Kilkenny, obviously, the weekend coming and then Offaly in their last game.
So they will drop back to Joe McDonagh level and then they'll be replaced by Leisure Carlo.
And as Martin says, Leisure Carlo will come back up and they'll get sent straight back down.
And then Kildare or Leisure Carlo will come back up and the cycle will continue forever is the feeling.
And it's bad for Hurley and those counties to have this yo-yo thing going on.
And he says, having six counties in the Leinster Championship is ideal from an organisational viewpoint and it offers three games per round across five weekends.
It's all very neat and tidy, but this should not be about tidy schedules.
And he wonders why not have, for instance, eight counties compete in Leinster and split them into two groups of four and go from there to a Leinster final.
thoughts on this like Leinster is kind of trying to fight the good fight against Munster and you know claim a little bit of the limelight and so is he talking about maybe just getting in maybe an extra Westmeath or something like that to extend it yeah yeah he's almost saying that the likes of the the the the
it'd be easier to stay up and survive.
He didn't go into detail on what's relegation and not relegation, but I suppose the sense if you're a Cladair or a Leash or a Carlo is you come up and you go straight back down.
