Show me a white farmer that couldn't get into a federal office only on Wednesday when they saw black farmers.

And show me a white farmer where they was tearing up his application and throwing it in the trash can.

And show me a federal official said, they've done all these things to you and they didn't get fired.

Oh, yeah.

Absolutely difference.

You cannot equate this to anything that happened in the 60s, 70s, or 80s.

We're talking about a set of individuals, including the president, who are more concerned with power and control than they are

operating within the guardrails of the Constitution.

And so when that is the reality, we must approach this differently and not hit tripwires because they want a reason to call for martial law.

They want a reason to lock up people, particularly black and brown and people who they consider the other.

So our strategy has to be one that's much more measured and calculated as opposed to reactionary.

The images of Nebraska farmers

crops rotting in their fields because we have took on a tariff war that we should not have taken on.

The images of us sending $20 billion to Argentina so those farmers can sell the same crop to China that our farmers could not.

The images of white farmers losing their farms, images of people losing health care as a result of this Congress' unwillingness

to have a continuum of resolutions that is inclusive of the Affordable Care Act.

Those are much more compelling and powerful images in this moment.

We represent 13% of the population.

We can't save America, but we can give them a moral compass on what direction they should go in.

And at some point, they're going to have to take our moral compass and go in that direction.
