When given an opportunity to stand up and what we are witnessing now is no different than what he did when he was in office the 1st, the 1st term, but just more aggressive when he was taking babies from parents arms and some of those babies are now approaching.
You know, 9, 10, 11 years old, and David was never reunified with their parents.
We have to recognize that in this moment, the guard rails that we have grown accustomed to the constitutions, the rule of law, this administration have thrown out the door.
And slowly they are eroding and stepping on the very rules that we govern ourselves by.
But there is a point at which America is going to say, wait a minute, this isn't right.
It's the immigrant community today.
Then it's a legalized Latino community tomorrow.
It's Black folks next.
It's women after that.
And so on and so forth.
But what's also happening underneath this that we're not seeing enough of is the
policy harm that's been placed on everyday working white class Americans.
And it's incumbent upon the Democrats and others to go talk to them.
Don, you can't talk to them.
I can't talk to them.
They need to see someone who looks like them say, wait a minute, the reason why you are losing X is not because of Biden or the Democrats or this.
It's this administration that's carrying out a set of policies to take things from you.
That must happen immediately.
It's absolutely our fight, but our response to it needs to be much more calculated and measured.
The protest of the past isn't, in my opinion, I could be wrong, and I've been wrong a lot of my life.
