A question I want to ask you and others did too is how do you process it?
I know you say you kind of have your heart briefed because it isn't a regular job in any sense.
Do you find it difficult, your dad, yourself, not to bring it home?
Do you sometimes need that support for yourselves, that vicarious trauma?
It is inevitable because presumably, as you say, there are causes to what we've termed as accidents.
You say there are crashes because they're usually a causal factor.
What, in your view, is the biggest?
Is it drink driving?
Is it driver behaviour?
What do you see as one of the biggest causes?
And often it's... And they have to live with that for the rest of their lives.
What happens, somebody was asking, what happens if you're, before a community first responder or the ambulance, what happens if you come across the scene?
How can you ensure that you're helpful and safe and not actually getting in the way?
