Well with me discussing her life in five songs is Brona Gallagher uh Coit and Donegal said, Hi Darval, lovely to hear Brona on your show.
We have fond memories of her singing with the Inner Show and Gospel choir here in Donegal.

Um so you were as I say, in everything but the groom, you were singing, you were dancing, you were acting.
But your big breakthrough was um uh was Margot Harkin such a bi baby.
That was the uh y you were meant to be
Like you I spent a bit of time trying to uh get into drama schools in the UK.
Um never too late.
Never too late.
I don't think at this stage now but but what it was interesting was, you know, you you sometimes you thought, would your accent go against you?
Like you have never lost one ounce of your accent.

like did you find that that it was hard to break through into that sort of 'cause it's it's obviously very difficult anyway to try and get into those schools.
Well it's really interesting 'cause as in life, you know, if if a door shuts, windows opens, all of that kind of stuff and rejection rejection can often put you on onto your best path.
