There's no chance of parole for Rex Heuermann, who admitted in April to killing eight women and dumping their remains around the affluent suburbs east of New York City as far back as 1993.
After the sentencing, Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney wouldn't say if he thinks Heuermann is responsible for more murders.
Tierney says the FBI will now enter Heuermann's DNA into its database for comparison to other crime scenes.

Former New York City architect Rex Heuermann told a state court judge Wednesday he killed and in some cases dismembered eight women.
Their scattered remains were discovered around Long Island as far back as 1993.
Ray Tierney is the Suffolk County District Attorney.
He says the plea doesn't mean the investigation is over.
Heuermann faces three consecutive life sentences, plus 100 years, at his sentencing hearing in June.
