This current step for this case is essential so this is a major mile marker for Quateria's case so happy with the results.

I just have to say again that the fact that these family members helped us, even though they had never met or even knew why Tyria existed, is very moving.

They wanted to help because they believed that it was the right thing to do for Whiteria.

And as Beth had said, they were open enough to trust us as well.

I think that one big part of us doing this podcast is to try to continue to build that trust with the community and to signal to people that we are here to help.

We want to solve these cases, not just for stats or numbers to clear out a case, but because it's the right thing to do and because Whiteria deserves that.

She deserves a thorough look at her case and she deserves to have someone take the time to really search and do the work to try to bring her home.

Next episode, we will wrap up Season 3 by revisiting all of our theories and by recapping the entire season of this investigation.

We will also be uploading the familial DNA as we collect it as we begin the next chapter of this case.

We are hopeful that the updates we have made, especially when it comes to DNA, will help us bring Witeria home.

Witeria would have turned 89 just last month on May 1st, if she is still alive.

And while that is a possibility, it may not be very likely.

So, we have to at least consider the possibility that Witeria Jones is dead and still waiting to be found.

As we discussed in the last episode, to really utilize NamUs for its full potential, we need fingerprints, dental records, and DNA to compare against unidentified remains.

But when we began looking at this particular case, we discovered that we had none of those for Yteria.

Yes, and unfortunately, we still don't have those fingerprints.
