Typically, you know, like say when it was Anthony Blinken who was secretary of state under Biden, he traveled all the time.
He was just like on a plane like 360 days out of the year that he was in.
And the national security advisor typically kind of sits right next to the president, kind of briefs him every morning.
And so in Rubio's case, he's really kind of acting like the now security advisor.
He basically works in the White House.
He travels a little bit, but not that much.
So these guys, Wyckoff and Kushner, they're effectively the secretaries of state.
They're running around and they're trying to make peace in some of the really intractable areas around the globe.
So they've done negotiations with Iran.
They've done negotiations in Gaza.
They've done them in Ukraine.
They've flown to places like that, places like where the United States is trying to kind of insert itself and separate the warring parties, except, I should add, in the case of Iran, where there wasn't a war going on until...
Until they got involved.
But that's, we can talk
I think the mostly unstated but sometimes stated premise of what they're doing is that the ordinary bureaucracy of the United States government and the diplomatic core of the United States government, the whole foreign policy apparatus of the U.S.
government is basically a big failure.
And so these two very smart real estate guys, not knowing the history, not knowing the complexities, they can parachute in and
And they can make peace because they're smart and they're quick and they're not burdened by all the baggage of the past.
Kushner has said this out loud.
He's like, look, I wouldn't be here, you know, in Gaza, in Ukraine.
