Yeah, I mean, forensic-driven cybersecurity is all about turning forensics into foresight, right?
So imagine you have a hospital and you're running it and you have an infection in a ward.
What do you do?
You basically find out what went wrong, what are the hygiene practices, what was the staff behavior, the cleanliness in the room, so on and so forth.
And then, of course, you take necessary precautions going forward, right?
So you take new cleaning protocols, you train, you monitor your team, you train them and so on and so forth.
So the lesson is largely learning from the past mistakes, which is forensics, which allows perhaps in this case, a hospital to make smarter decisions and prevent harm going forward.
So it's as simple as that.
So forensics is understanding why something went wrong scientifically.
And then foresight is using that knowledge to prevent from what's to happen it again.
So it's largely forensics leading, turning forensics to foresight.
Absolutely.
I mean, you could probably take instances where things have actually gone wrong.
And in our case, in cybersecurity especially, things do go wrong.
And not necessarily for your own organization.
It could happen to your peer.
It could happen to someone else in the industry.
So if you were to actually just analyze as to what went wrong, why did it go, get to the root cause of it, and then convert that into insights so that moving forward, you don't have to go through the same ordeal probably some other organization has gone through.
