I wasn't being a smartass before.

I actually think you look at it and go, well, why not?

Like it's something that interests you, why not give it a go?

And I don't think it's anything more complicated than that.

Plus there's some upside to it.

So what needs to change in your identity in order to take that on in the future or do more of that?

And also I think you've got a really good network to ask, to have some of those discussions.

James Clear wrote Atomic Habits and one of the, I don't even think it's a full chapter, but one of the paragraphs or a couple of pages in there talks about identity and the fact that habits are one thing.

And I know you love your morning habits.

Habits are one thing, but identity is the short version to it.

It's like if you want to run a marathon and you kind of just go, I want to run a marathon, so therefore I've got to do this training.

There's a significant difference if you change your identity to say, I am a runner, which I think is really interesting.

You know, just that identity around it, especially now when you have this podcast and stuff that you still quietly know who you are and not necessarily how everyone else sees you.

The short version I would say is I want something, I want a system that maps the leads that come in, what gets converted to sales, what gets delivered and then what's invoiced.

Because I think that if you map that out, so it's literally a client journey.

So you want a system that maps through the client journey.

Even if to start with it's just a spreadsheet, at least you capture all the leads and then you know what stage they're at.

Because if you don't and you're losing leads, then that's going to cost you money.

And if you make the sale and you do the work, but you don't invoice them, that costs you lots of money.

So you basically want something that captures the client journey as it goes through.
