So let me give you the right geographical explanation.

That's nothing new.

I'm a geophysicist, remember?

So the rocks and stuff are important.

So we have two plates that collided, European and Asian plates.

And if you want to draw the difference between Europe and Asia, you go by Ural Mountain.

Okay.

So you go from the north, you go south, Ural Mountain, eventually eroded completely.

And if you follow that trend, you will get to Caucasus Mountain.

which is another mountain that separates several tectonic plates.

So European and Eurasian are pushing down.

From south, you have three plates that collided and pushing up.

And then we have this collision that created Caucasian mountains.

If we're looking at the map on my left, so that will be west, I have Black Sea.

On the right, it's a Caspian Sea.
