Like they they check all those boxes.
And the reason why they're number one for me over teams like the Rams, over teams like the Seahawks and the Broncos.
Is because they addressed the one thing that I think would have kept them
Out of this conversation before.
And that's adding fresh new bodies to serve as their depth behind their starters.
This has been something that they really haven't had to concern themselves with because they've actually had a great stretch of health across their defense.
Um, since D'Amico Ryans has been there.
But there's always been that question of: hey, if the wrong defensive tackle goes down, this is already a team that's not the greatest on a down-to-down basis, defending the run, right?
Or at least if there was a chink.
And the harm, it would have been that.
They go out and get Logan Hall, 290 pound defensive tackle, you know, flex guy to be your fourth D tackle.
And right above him is rookie Caden McDonald, who is like that 320, 330 pound nose tackle, right?
I love that picture.
Like that's exactly what they needed.
You look at Will Anderson and Daniil Hunter and say, We need one more guy who can play for us on rundowns and at least keep us stable in case one of these guys
Guys, pull a groin or hurt their biceps.
You go out and get Jadavian Clowney, who's like the ultimate mercenary in that right, and somebody who you don't have to ask to go play 70% of the snaps.
He can just be a bit player for them.
And then you go out and you address a free safety spot with two guys, Reed Blankenship, who obviously for you, you know, being in Philadelphia, and I know as an Eagles fan.
Doesn't always pop, but is rarely, if ever, in the wrong spot and typically finds himself making great plays because he just knows where to be on the field.
