I watched the first and second half live and I watched the other half when I got back home.
I don't have the privilege to be able to sit on a couch.
It was quite telling, Pat.
You watch back, there was a good camera shot a few times going from behind the goals back down the pit.
And there were so many times in that second half that the Donegal players were outnumbered by the downed players on the goal side.
Whereas if you flip that the other way around, every time, and Aaron Kernan, who's actually a very good analyst, commented how quick the downed players were to get back on the goal side.
So that's about intent.
It's about desire.
It's about mental fitness to be able to just do that.
That's the honest hard work to get goal side of your man.
The guy was roaring at me under 12s on Saturday morning at a Blitzen Club.
Get goal side.
It takes just that wee bit more desire and passion to get over that other side.
Make that hard, unselfish run, but gets you set up and done that from start to finish.
Absolutely.
And that ultimately was the difference.
And Donegal uncharacteristically didn't because that's what we spoke about.
At the league, no, Pat, it wasn't one game.
Like, the whole league block of work.
Like, they were hugely impressive over the whole block of the league.
