So we watched the game, had a few shandies.

And yeah, it got a bit out of hand towards the end.

So police arrived and they all ran off.

And me not being the quickest, unfortunately, I was the first one to get caught.

And what happened next?

Yeah, the police took me and then, yeah, I was there.

Obviously, I was in my tracksuit.

I told them that I'm a player, which they probably didn't believe me.

Nobody spoke any English or German.

So we had a guy who looked after us that week.

He was a Japanese guy who studied in England.

So somehow I got hold of him in the hotel and he came, he got me out of the police station about five or six in the morning, just in time to catch, to have a couple of eggs, a coffee and jump on the bus back to the airport.

I was quite fortunate to get out.

Kera being the friend, I was living with Sami Hibya.

Now, to see a happy Sami Hibya, you've probably got to go back a long time.

But if he gets a call on a 15 or 20-minute interval basis at 2 in the morning asking whether I'm back,

You can imagine, well, Karen might be able to allude to it, but I don't think Sammy was best pleased.
