It's a very international city these days because there is a lot of migration from Mexico, from Venezuela, from Colombia as well.

I hear more French people on the streets every day.

So it has turned into a...

a very international city and i heard from the organizers the numbers around 40 percent of the people that attended the event were from abroad so they may have a reference and they can judge probably better having attended or other f1 races what the experience was like here i would say and from the feedback i've gotten it's been a sounding success

We can talk a lot more about what happened on the track, but as an event, it's hard to deny that it was a big success.

Yeah, I guess to make it fair, the only way of probably changing it, but you wouldn't like it to be like that, is like in Formula 2 when they have a mandatory pit stop.

And you can't make your mandatory pit stop under VSC.

You can make it under Safety Card, but not under VSC.

But, yeah.

As you say very well, it's a safety call and unfortunately this time some say that along a driver's career luck evens out.

You remember Lando took his first victory in Miami, somehow assisted by a safety car.

This time unfortunately a virtual safety car cost him the first victory in Madrid.

Yeah, and you don't want to close the pit lane either and bunch the field up and then next lap everybody pits and it's chaos as well.

So, yeah, it's the rule book and it's how things work out in F1 and it's different to IndyCar and NASCAR and sometimes that makes for a great race dynamic.

Sometimes it doesn't.

It helps some.

It probably doesn't help others, but that's the way it works.

And also that you mentioned fairness, and fairness is a very subjective word.
