So I my friend was sick and then she was like, I really can't do um I c I can't do this race.

And I'm really I'm really glad she did say that because I think she would have not enjoyed it.

And then I was like, Okay, do I do it alone?

Okay.

I was really scared.

And then I met Pascal kind of like through the Facebook group, um, before the start and then we

Spent the first few days together and then all of a sudden on our way in the taxi to um Carapol, he was like, Well, do you just wanna do it in a pair?

Well, let's do it.

Yeah.

And then we signed up and we pair.

And then I think the fr one day before or two days before the race we cycled for the first time together.

I think it was I mean, it took me really two sleepless nights.

After you asked me to go as a pair because I was like

Yeah, do I wanna do it with a stranger?

Um, but more like doubting myself because he's more experienced.

Like he has done I think he did probably Atlas or something.

Like he was quite more experienced in like bikepacking races.

And I mean he's Swiss, so he's also more experienced in mountains and everything.
