Um, you know, when they're s as important as Troy Parrot are, and then they're taking a a pathway that's a little different, we're even more invested in it.
But I think there's something, as Tony said about his interview when he spoke last year, I think there's something about Parrot that is um bewitching beyond even his goals.
And it is that sense of the journey he's been on, if you like, because he was always the next big thing.

He was the future star, he was going to be, you know, people were talking about him when he was 14, 15, he went to Spurs, everyone was expecting something.
And literally, at the age of twenty-one, he was being asked, you know, what advice would you pass on to like younger players, having kind of almost been assumed that at twenty-one he'd missed his opportunity to be that next big thing?
And I think that was hugely um
uh important in Parro's career because when Tony when he talked last year before those Ireland matches, which changed everything, um
He just basically said, I don't think about the future anymore.
And I think that was more than just a cliche.
It was like I've my whole life has been about the future and what I'm going to be.
Now I'm just concentrating on what I'm going to do.
And he did it in Holland, he did it for Ireland.
And I think it's just exceptional what he's doing already in Spain.
And I think it's just one of those stories that I think he's in he's suited to playing in the conference.
continent, his body can r uh recover in a way that he wouldn't recover in the Premier League.
Like there's a there's a parallel w universe here where he'd have jo he'd have joined West Ham and pla be playing in the championship and that would have been that would have been dreadful.
It is, yeah.
But I think again that s says something about Seamus Coleman and w when you the the more you're exposed to him, uh, the more you realise how important he is to have around.
