And dropped it.
And then I had a real good, like run of like that kind of weird blurby lure sound.
Like I had like a record with,
GDN taught my first K-pop record.
It was called Knockout.
It was that same month.
And then I did a couple big R&B records that had those sounds.
And then people knew me as the hip-hop weird trap sound guy.
It's funny because I remember going to do Watch the Throne with Jay-Z and Kanye.
And I was at the Mercer Hotel.
And I remember playing a lot of beats like Look at Me Now.
And Kanye just looks at me and goes...
Diplo, man, stop playing that clown music.
So I knew that sound was over at that moment.
I had to do something different.
And I remember I worked on this weird song on that album, the one with Beyonce and Bruno Mars.
It was called Liftoff or something.
I didn't get credit on it, but I was in the studio and trying to work on it.
I don't know what the hell I was doing.
