What we found out this morning practically proves it was he that killed Rosita Ortega.

The Roomba murder case began when Rosita Ortega, a dance instructor, was found knifed.
Vance's suspects include a Spanish teacher, Margaret Stone, a dancer named Ronaldo Alvarez, whom the senorita had discharged, and Jack Cummings, merchant and amateur woodcarver, who, we have reason to believe, was being blackmailed by senorita Ortega.
Ronaldo has told us that he had been at the Shadowland Dance Hall the entire evening previous, dancing with a hostess there named Mary Morgan.
And I know that Vance checked the dance hall, found out her apartment address, and is there with her right now.
Oh, I don't know, Vance.
