But you know, we're willing to put that energy into it and and and see what we can do and try to be better at than what we've been at the past.
Yeah.
No, I I I'll say this.
And I I believe this in life.
I I believe that, you know, maybe I'm a good person, maybe I'm a good coach, but I I am absolutely nothing without the team around me.
That's with my family, my wife, my kids, my friends.
And then if you translated that to high school basketball, it's the staff.
You know, one of the things that one is um
that I was got advice from year one was, you know, I I'm not an X's and O's guy.
I'm an energy guy.
And so I the first thing I thought was like, I gotta go find this expert on X's and O's and he's gonna teach me things and all this stuff.
And um my buddy who's coaching high school, um
He gave me great advice.
He's like, go find people that are loyal to you, that will, you know, will get your back because it's it's a thankless job in a sense.
And and then you gotta think, well, if you go bring in a new coach and maybe you don't do good, is that new coach who might be smarter than you in X's and O's?
Is he trying to get your job?
Oh, hey, you know, I don't know if DJ can get this job done, but I can't.
That happens.
And you can see that.
So for me it was it was super important for get people around me who loved basketball, who loved kids, who were passionate about it.
