I won't be able for you because effort will go into how you run an offense.

Effort will go how you play defense, how you guard your guys, how do you prepare.

All of that can take effort.

Um and so when we go to tryouts, we try to do a little bit of skill work, we try to do a little bit of

Up and down the court, test them a little bit, mix up teams.

How are they when they're not on a good team?

How are they when they're on a really good team?

Um, you know, and then just see collectively from a culture standpoint, is this guy a good fit?

And, you know, unfortunately, that's the worst part about this job.

I hate, I hate cutting kids.

Cause you are kind of wrecking some dreams that they they envision.

when they were in fourth, five, fifth, sixth grade that I want to play high school basketball.

And sometimes you can't do that for 'em.

So it's tough.

It's hard because you you see the emotion that they feel like their dream's over.

And you know, the reality is it's it's not.

You know, very few get to play high school basketball.

And then like me, that was it.

My my dream died when we lost the state title.

I didn't get to go play, you know, college or NBA.
