Maybe I'll get better, maybe I'll take that, maybe I won't.
But I think sometimes it's good to get it off the chest.
Um and so I think all of those things, kind of, you know, running a business and and dealing with like different personalities have helped.
Saying that I'm I'm not gonna shy away from these kids and and wanting them to know that I love 'em because that's the number one thing.
And and I hope that in my short time for two years at Mountain View, each one of those seniors or anybody who's played for myself or with our coaches
Man, yeah, I just hope you know that we love you.
It might not be easy at times, but I hope you know we love.
Yeah, I think every single year, and and you know, this is where I may be different from from other coaches.
Um, I get asked this question all the time: like, you know, what's your basketball philosophies?
And you know, and I'm thinking, well, there's a huge difference between philosophies and standards.
I I'm not an ex-s and os savant.
And and there's people out there.
I I make this joke joke all the time, just to my buddies, is I got some of the greatest friends who coach high school back.
Basketball.
And I'm I'm generally probably too sarcastic at times.
There's been people coached 25 years, you know, and you you know some of these guys, you add them all up, and they got 60, 70 years worth of coaching high school basketball.
And I say this: I said, I have just as many state championships as all those guys combined, and I've done it for two years.
We don't have any.
Not because those guys have failed as coaches, because they have translated to amazing kids and all this stuff.
It's hard to win a state title.
