I'm gonna be pumped up, I'm gonna be loud, and I'm gonna get you motivated to do it.

And and I just believe those things will translate on an energy on the court.

But they will also translate when you have lack of it.

And then you gotta say, Hey, where are you, bro?

Like get out here.

Like give me something more or just come sit on the bench if you if you don't got it.

And then they'll look at me and I tell these kids, because I respect them, hey, when you're ready.

Holler at me.

And and they'll ready and now they gotta go back in there and they know, you know, that there's a loose ball, I'm diving on it.

So you just demand it.

go about building that.

So in two two years ago when I, you know, sat with the interview at Mountain View, I I thought it was just coaching high school varsity basketball.

And I tell this to people, if they would have told you everything you have to do as a high school, I don't teach, you know, I I run a couple of businesses.

If they would have told me everything I'd have to do to to run a high school program

I can assure you one hundred percent I would have turned the job down.

Cause there is there is everything from budgets to running a youth program to maintaining parents to scheduling um to practices two, two and a half hours a day to spring league to summer leagues to fall leagues.

I mean, this is a year job and

And so, you know, to now learn all those mistakes and not to say that Mountain View was the guinea pig of all that, but there were so many mistakes that were made in those first couple years, and there's gonna be thousands of mistakes after, but you just try to eliminate those as time goes on.
