I mean, I noticed there was no female DJs.

It was a situation where I understood that this is fresh and new.

And I kind of, it was kind of drilled into me because we would go, me and my, we actually started together, me and my best friend.

And we would go to these venues and say, hey, we're DJs, here's a mixtape.

And they'd be like, girls don't DJ.

And then it's like, I don't really – like, I don't understand.

What do you mean?

Like, it's not like we're lifting barrels of hay and you're like, we can't do it.

We can do everything.

We're girls.

We run the world.

And we're hot.

And we're hot, yeah.

Well, yeah.

Well, I mean, that wasn't going to fly, right?

Especially in the DJing world, it can be a little bit, you know, gatekept, you know, like you have to prove yourself a little bit.

Eventually moved back to Australia and then I started working with my manager who is now my husband.
