We did a lot of work on child exploitation content, actually.

That's work that is unfortunately perpetual.

There is no

period in which that happens, that is always happening.

So a lot of work on child safety, a lot of work on, again, spam and scams don't move seasonally.

There are certain topical areas where the focus may change because there is some major event happening in the world.

So obviously the pandemic is one such thing.

Occasionally every two years there's an election.

There's always an election somewhere, right?

Yes.

So, you know, one of the first elections that we looked at when I was at SIO was actually the Taiwan election.

And that's because if you're looking at adversarial abuse, particularly for me, a big focus was state actor influence operations.

China is absolutely influencing

the Taiwanese election.

They are working very, very hard to do that.

And so studying and understanding what Chinese influence operations are looking like in the Taiwanese election shows you how China's tactics have evolved in that particular moment in time as, again, a new technology platform might have emerged.

Um, new use cases have evolved.

Generative AI has, you know, new capacity has come about whenever you have a new technology or a new platform, the playing field changes.

And so the adversarial behavior changes.

So we think about it almost like, um, almost like being akin to cybersecurity where you always have some sort of adversarial actor doing something manipulative.
