Known to many New Zealanders as the money lady for her books about money and the successful company she built, Enable Me, she is a straight-talking financial strategist who helped thousands of families get control of their money.

But that's just the public persona.

In this episode, we talk about the cost of success, the struggle and grind of the early years of EnableMe, what it feels like to sell your business and become wildly wealthy, and what it's like to walk away from something you spent years building, from an idea to a business with over 100 staff.

And now, why instead of just playing golf or pickleball and drinking pink gins, she's gone all in on another venture, this time in elderly healthcare called Brightly, and why she is making it her mission to completely rethink how we care for ageing New Zealanders.

Yeah, you're a force, but yet very, very trusting in other people, like not a force without being a control freak, as in, you know, you pay someone for their advice and you trust them.

If they know more than you in a different field, you trust them.
