He said, ask him why he was always left arm over top of right arm for team photos, the opposite to everyone else.

Oh, so it was something that you weren't aware you were doing?

No.

And he said, ask him if he remembers the first time I gave him a tour of the Crusaders facilities.

He told me the backstory to this, if you can't remember.

Was he Crusader's manager when you first arrived?

Okay, so he said he gave you a tour of the facilities, and he said, okay, this is the physio room, the rehab room, and you said something like, we won't be needing that.

So yeah.

And the, um, the last message I got was from, um, Justin Marshall.

Um, so your careers sort of overlapped, I guess he was probably finishing just when you were.

He's only, he's only a year older than me.

He's a great guy.

His memory of Brad Thorne, in essence, was he talked about your commitment to work and how you'd go to the gym before anyone else.

So he said the forwards would have a time to go to the gym and then the backs would come a bit later.

He said you'd always go an hour before everyone else.

And then by the time the backs got in, you'd just be wandering around

And he said he remembers once he was doing bench and he had like 90 kilos or something on the bench and you just came up and looked at it and then laughed and walked away.
