And uh we we have a syllabus of twelve EDT lessons.
They're called twelve essential driver training sessions.
And on session five, EDT number five.
Parking is included in that on the syllabus.
But let me just list quickly what else is included on session five.
On session five, you're meant to make sure that the positioning on the straight is good.
Position in traffic lanes is good.
Position on traffic on bends turning left and right, turning re left and right are corners, negotiating roundabouts, approaching and emerging from junctions, reversing, performing a turnabout.
Stopping in the confined space, stopping in traffic.
and parking and what I meant to in uh teach all those things that I've just listed within one hour.
It's a crazy system that we have.
The E D Sis E D T system is not fit for purpose.
There's too much crammed in uh for twelve hours driving.
And uh we have highlighted this to the RSA and the Department of Transport many times.
But of course we are the professionals, but we're not we're the ones that they don't listen to, unfortunately.
Well, the number one thing is awareness, you know.
You you know, don't just park your car and think, Okay, that's it, I'm into the shop or I'm going into my friend's house and you disappear for an hour or two hours.
When when you park your car, when you get out of your car, ask yourself the question.
